The exhibit illustrates Montana's involvement in WWI through four individuals with Montana ties:  The Doughboy (Sidney F. Smith), The Aviator (William E. Belzer), The Nurse (Josephine Hale), and The Ambassador (James Watson Gerard, Marcus Daly's son-in-law). 

The catalog also includes separate sections about trench art, camoflage, the Red Cross, the enemy, and the use of art as propaganda in WWI.  Illustrateed with photos and artifacts from the Museum's collection.
