ePass Montana

ePass Montana allows you to use one username and password to access many eGoverment services.
Select the statement that best fits below for additional information on how to proceed:

I do not have an ePass Montana Account

If you do not have an ePass Montana account then you will need to create one before you are able to begin your application. Creating an account is easy and can be done in just 2 easy steps. Note: ePass usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

  • Step 1: Click on the “Create an Account” button located in the “New Customer” box on the right side of the page.
  • Step 2: Enter the required information including a personalized username and password. When finished click the “Continue” button.
I have an ePass Montana Account

If you already have an existing ePass Montana account simply enter your personalized username and password in the “Existing Customer” box located on the left side of the page and click “Login”

I have an ePass Montana account but have forgotten my username and/or password.

If you have an ePass Montana account but have forgotten your password click the “Forgot your password?” link located under the username box. The password hint you entered when creating your account will be emailed to the email address you provided.

If you have forgotten your username you will need to create a new ePass account, as a username cannot be retrieved. Creating a new account is easy and can be done in just 2 easy steps.

  • Step 1: Click on the “Create an Account” button located in the “New Customer” box on the right side of the page.
  • Step 2: Enter the required information including a personalized username and password. When finished click the “Continue” button.

Tips on Completing the Application

  • Answer questions based on their current household situation. Household is you and the relatives that live with you. Relatives are related to you by blood, marriage or adoption.
  • Do not use the back arrow or back button Back button

  • Information icon provides additional information. To view this information, place your mouse over the icon and the information will appear.
  • Error icon indicates an error has been detected.
  • Required icon indicates required information is needed to continue.
  • A Citizen has the option to “Begin a New Application” or “Upload Supporting Documentation” upon initial login into the service. A citizen does not have to have submitted a completed application to see the upload option. This allows citizen applicants who may not have applied online to still be able to upload supporting documentation.
  • When you Save and Exit button, only fully completed sections will be saved. You can save an incomplete application and return to complete and submit that application within 60 days. After 60 days of inactivity, incomplete applications are deleted.
  • Your only opportunity to get a copy of your completed application is on the page Confirmation Application
