Each summer at Pheasant Tales Bed & Bistro we purchase fresh huckleberries from the West Glacier area and make our huckleberry sour cream pancakes for our B&B guests. We grow rhubarb for our Huckleberry/Rhubarb Crisp which is part of our breakfast menu.We also grow raspberries for our Raspberry Clafoutis (which is a French fruit pie. We exclusively use Wheat Montana Flour for our zucchini sourdough/sour cream and banana sourdough/sour cream breads. Jelly for breakfast bread is made locally at the Spring Creek Hutterite Colony. All of the eggs we prepare for breakfast, such as our Zucchini/Parmesan Fritattas, come from local Hutterite colonies. We love our Lewistown Farmer's Market and purchase locally grown melons, fruits, vegetables, and pork sausage for our guests when seasonally available!
At Pheasant Tales Bed & Bistro we use Montana grown huckleberries, raspberries, rhubarb, melons and fresh vegetables in preparing our meals for our guests. Local ingredients such as eggs and Montana Wheat Flour are used to make our delicious Zucchini or Banana /Sourdough Sour Cream breads, Sourdough French Bread, Huckleberry/Rhubarb Crisp, Huckleberry Sour Cream Pancakes, Raspberry French Fruit Pie, and Zucchini/Parmesan Fritatta! Sip our fresh huckleberry smoothie while lingering over breakfast on our glassed in porch!
