(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library (MSL) Commission will meet at the Montana State Capitol, Room 172 in Helena and on Zoom on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend.  For an agenda, meeting materials, and information about how to join the online meeting, visit:

The Montana State Library Commission meets at least six times per year. Commissioners include Elsie Arntzen - Superintendent of Public Instruction, Vice-Chair Tom Burnett of Bozeman, Carmen Cuthbertson of Kalispell, Tammy Hall of Bozeman, Brian Rossmann - Commissioner of Higher Education Appointee, Chair Robyn Scribner of Geraldine, and Peggy Taylor of Whitefish.

The Commission will consider action on the consent agenda, Public Information Request Policy, budget amendments to revert FY23 general funds and increase Federation funding, 2024 Commission meeting dates, and Administrative Rules adoption on the Montana Geospatial Information Act, Real Time Network, and Public Library Standards. They will receive a Network Advisory Council meeting report. They will receive standing reports and information items from the State Librarian on the FY 24 Work Plan Dashboard, website dead links report, Human Resources dashboard, and Partner Feedback.

Members of the public who wish to share public comments on an agenda item other than the administrative rules process must submit the comment no later than two (2) business days before the start of the public meetings.

Comments on the proposed adoption, amendment, and repeal of the administrative rules listed in the agenda can be submitted until noon on Dec. 1, 2023 at:
