The Montana Land Information Advisory Council (MLIAC) will meet on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Montana State Capitol, Room 152 in Helena. Meeting attendance will also be available on Zoom. In this meeting, the Council will consider action on last meeting's executive summary and the MLIAC representative on the MAGIP Board. They will hear presentations on the DNRC UAV Workflow and Low Distortion Projects from NECI, as well as standing reports about GIS Coordination, MAGIP, Geo-enabled elections, MSDI updates, MLIA grants, and the MLIA financial report. They will discuss the FY24 Land Information Plan.

Members of the public who wish to share written comment or pertinent visual materials to the Council must submit written public comment to Genevieve Lighthiser, glighthiser@mt.gov, no later than 24 hours before the start of the public meetings. 


The Montana Land Information Advisory Council was established by statute through the Montana Land Information Act with the purpose of establishing a planning framework for land information and granting process for Montana.  Members of the Council represent federal and state agencies, tribes, private businesses, local governments, the university system, and the Montana legislature.
