(HELENA)--- Members of the Network Advisory Council will meet on Zoom on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend. An agenda, meeting materials, and a link to connect to the meeting virtually can be found at:

During this special meeting, the Council will consider the minutes from previous meetings, the Montana Memory Project Collection Policy, the Library Development Plan, the Library Services and Technology Act Five-Year Plan, and the Freedom to Read Statement.

The Network Advisory Council represents the interests of all types of Montana libraries and maintains the perspective of statewide geographical balance as it explores ways to help libraries; assesses community needs; identifies innovation opportunities; reviews and evaluates the feasibility, design, and outcomes of statewide library projects; assists with statewide planning and advises the State Librarian and the State Library Commission.

The Montana State Library makes an effort to ensure that our meetings are held in a way that is fully accessible to persons with disabilities. If you plan to attend the meeting and will need services or accommodations relating to a disability, please contact Genevieve Lighthiser at 406-444-3384 at least two (2) working days prior to the meeting.

Through its statewide programs, the Montana State Library helps all organizations, communities, and Montanans thrive through excellent library resources and services.  For more information about the Montana State Library, visit http://msl.mt.gov. For more information about the Network Advisory Council meeting and how to attend, contact Cara Orban, Statewide Projects Librarian at (406) 444-5350 or via e-mail at: COrban@mt.gov.
