They will discuss the Montana Library Association Government Affairs update, Library Development Plan progress, Technology Core Services Committee update, Lifelong Learning Core Services Committee Update, e-Resources Core Services Committee Collection Development Policy, Strategic Foresight, and updates on the State Library.

The Network Advisory Council represents the interests of all types of Montana libraries and maintains the perspective of statewide geographical balance as it explores ways to help libraries; assesses community needs; identifies innovation opportunities; reviews and evaluates the feasibility, design, and outcomes of statewide library projects; assists with statewide planning and advises the State Librarian and the State Library Commission.

The Montana State Library makes an effort to ensure that our meetings are held at facilities that are fully accessible to persons with mobility disabilities. If you plan to attend the meeting and will need services or accommodations relating to a disability, please contact Genevieve Lighthiser at 406-444-3384 at least two (2) working days prior to the meeting.

Through its statewide programs, the Montana State Library helps all organizations, communities, and Montanans thrive through excellent library resources and services.  For more information about the Montana State Library, visit http://msl.mt.gov. For more information about the Network Advisory Council meeting and how to attend, contact Cara Orban, Consortia Director at (406) 444-5350 or via e-mail at: corban@mt.gov.
