The Montana State Library Commission will meet in Helena and on Zoom on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will be at the Montana State Capitol, Room 303. The Montana State Library Commission meets six times per year. Commissioners include Chair Dalton Johnson from Missoula, Vice Chair Peggy Taylor of Whitefish, Elsie Arntzen, Superintendent of Public Instruction; Tammy Hall of Bozeman, Kristin Kerr of Helena, and Robyn Scribner of Geraldine.

The Commission will consider action on the consent agenda, FY22 Federation Reports, and the Rebrand Subcommittee recommendation.  The Commission will receive reviews, updates, and reports about the State Library policies about Compensatory Time and e-Resources Collection Development, the Montana Land Information Advisory Council, the Structures and Addresses Framework, MSL Data Transparency, the FY20/21 Financial Compliance Audit, and the State Library. The Commission will recognize staff longevity awards.

Members of the public who wish to share written comment or pertinent visual materials to the Commission must submit written public comment to the State Librarian, Jennie Stapp, no later than 24 hours before the start of the public meeting.
