Construction on Baxter-Love Roundabout Project to begin in July; Public open house on July 11 The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will host an open house on Thursday, July 11 between 4 and 6 p.m. to discuss the Baxter-Love Roundabout Project. The project will help address traffic safety and improve operations of the Baxter Lane and Love Lane intersection west of Bozeman in Gallatin County. Construction of the roundabout is anticipated to begin in mid-July and be completed in late fall. The meeting will be an open house format. Community members are encouraged to stop by the Gallatin Valley YMCA, 3673 Love Lane in Bozeman anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. MDT will provide information about anticipated traffic impacts during construction and answer questions. "MDT plans to keep the intersection open and will direct traffic through the work zone during construction," said Engineering Project Manager Craig Walker. "Accesses to businesses near the project area such as the Gallatin Valley YMCA will remain open." To sign up for construction email updates, text BAXTERLOVE to 22828.
