The open house will be held in East Helena on Wednesday, March 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the East Helena Fireman’s Hall (2 East Pacific Street). Project team members will be available at the open house to discuss the project.

The proposed “Lola Shepard Intersection Improvement Project” will involve intersection improvements affecting US-12/U.S. Highway 287, the adjacent frontage roads Tricia Street and Centennial Drive, and the north/south-running local roads Shepard Way, Elaine Street, Lola Street and Nicole Street. The project is beginning with the preliminary engineering phase which will evaluate a range of conceptual alternatives and identify an alternative that best meets the project objectives.

The purpose of the project is to address safety and mobility needs and other operational issues for all users within the project area.

The meeting is open to the public and attendance is encouraged.
