NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

MONTANA BOARD OF HOUSING

MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE OBLIGATIONS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intent of the Montana Board of Housing to hold a public hearing on the Board’s proposed issuance of: 

Up to $5,000,000 of its multifamily housing revenue obligations (the “Obligations”), the proceeds of which will be used to finance a loan for the acquisition, construction and equipping of the Copper Ridge Apartments, a 32‑unit affordable housing development located at 4500 Continental Drive, Butte, Montana 59701 (the “Project”).  The owner/borrower will be Copper Ridge 4, LLC, a Montana registered limited liability corporation, or another affiliate of Butte Affordable Housing or Thomas Development Company (the “Borrower”). 

The hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on July 5, 2018, in the office of the Executive director of the Montana Board of Housing located at 301 South Park Avenue, Second Floor, Helena, Montana.  Oral comments are limited to five minutes; however, written comments will be accepted and included in the record of the public hearing.  To enter and submit your comments from our website, go to http://housing.mt.gov/MET/PC    enter your ideas for improvement and click SUBMIT.  You are also able to attach documents to include in your public comment, via this method.

At the time and place fixed for the hearing, all individuals who appear or who attend via conference call will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the proposal to issue the Bonds and/or Obligations, and all written comments previously filed with the Board at its offices at 301 South Park Avenue, Room 240, Helena, Montana, will be considered.  To attend via webinar you must first register.  To find the information to register, go to http://housing.mt.gov/MET/PC and you will see the link to register for the webinar.  You will be given a toll-free phone number to dial in order to hear the proceedings.  All those who are on the webinar will have the opportunity to offer their comments and concerns.
