The Butte Short Line also includes details about the early years of operation, and local lore about holdups, wrecks and shootings. Illustrated throughout with black and white photos, the book also ncludes reproduction of 1896 bankruptcy report describing the line and its condition, along with maps and an extensive bibliography.
